Music & Rhyme
Our music and rhyme sessions are designed for children and their parents/carers from newborn through to five years old.
At these sessions, the children will enjoy singing and dancing to a range of different musical beats and rhythms with activities such as prop exploration, song choice and movement to music, encouraging a positive musical experience for both the children and their 'grown up' helpers. While being lots of fun, our sessions are cleverly designed to support the key learning and development areas set out in the Early Years Foundation Stage Statutory Framework such as Communication and Language; Physical Development; Personal, Social and Emotional etc, and each theme is supported by a documented session plan. We follow a new theme each half-term to ensure that you and your child have access to a wide repertoire of songs and rhymes, these include, Animals, On An Adventure and Rhythm and Movement to name but a few.
We hire various venues for parents and carers to bring their children to on a pay as you go basis or sessions can be provided as a funded option to Children's Centres, Home School provisions or any nursery/pre-school setting. We can adapt our sessions to support any key objectives that your group is measured on.
Our sessions are not just for young children, we have been working with MacIntyre - No Limits since September 2015 where we run music and games sessions for their young adults with learning disabilities.
